# Introduction

PrimePort is a multichain NFT marketplace and DeFi-native launchpad built by [Prime Numbers Labs](https://primenumbers.xyz). Originally deployed on the XDC Network, PrimePort expanded to Base (Ethereum L2) via LayerZero integration, bringing yield-bearing NFT infrastructure to the Ethereum ecosystem.

The protocol's core product is the **PRFI ONFT**: an ERC-721 token that functions as an on-chain yield vault. Holders stake $PRFI inside the NFT, earn from four distinct revenue streams, and level up through 20 tiers to increase their earnings multiplier, without ever leaving the marketplace.

### The Prime Numbers Ecosystem

PrimePort is one component of a broader DeFi ecosystem:

# What are PRFI ONFTs?

PRFI ONFTs are yield-bearing NFTs on Base (Ethereum L2). Each one is an on-chain\
vault that holds $PRFI tokens and earns from four revenue sources simultaneously.\
The higher the rarity and the more $PRFI staked inside, the larger the share of\
monthly rewards.

## How It Works

1. **Buy a PRFI ONFT** — Acquire one from PrimePort or OpenSea
2. **Stake $PRFI** — Deposit $PRFI tokens into your NFT via the staking platform
3. **Level up** — Each level requires a cumulative amount of staked $PRFI and increases your multiplier
4. **Earn rewards** — Your share of the 100,000 PRFI monthly pool is determined by your total multiplier (base + added)
5. **Compound or withdraw** — Claimed rewards are added to your NFT, or can be withdrawn once you reach max level

***

## The Art

Each PRFI ONFT is a generative artwork composed of five elements:

* A **prime number** (unique to that NFT)
* **Sensual vegetation**
* A **geometric figure**
* A **feminine shape**
* **Futuristic background lines** with complementary color fades

Each element has eight variations with different rarity levels, producing 32,768 possible combinations — far more than were ever minted.

The first 15 NFTs are **handcrafted** by artist [Olatz Diaz](https://olatzdiaz.com/), each representing one of the first 15 prime numbers. These are one-of-a-kind artworks that will never be minted again.

***

## Deflationary by Design

Every **merge burns two NFTs** and mints one of higher rarity. The collection gets scarcer over time. Of the original 4,111 NFTs, only 2,333 were ever minted — and every merge reduces that number further.

***

## Omnichain via LayerZero

PRFI ONFTs are omnichain-capable via [LayerZero](https://layerzero.network). They can be bridged to other supported chains while preserving full staking state and reward history.

# Rarity & Multipliers

Every PRFI ONFT has a **rarity tier** that determines its **base multiplier**. Higher rarity means a higher base multiplier, which means a larger share of the monthly reward pool.

***

## Rarity Tiers

Each NFT's global rarity is calculated by averaging the rarity scores of its five art elements (rounded up). The collection originally had 4,331 possible NFTs, of which only 2,333 were minted.

| Rarity Level | Base Multiplier | Rarity Name | Minted | Original Supply |
| ------------ | --------------- | ----------- | ------ | --------------- |
| 0            | 0.1             | OG NFTs     | 220    | 220             |

> **Example:** A Legendary NFT has a base multiplier of **1.2**. At level 12, the added multiplier is 1.2, giving a total multiplier of **2.4**.

***

## Total Multiplier

Your NFT's **total multiplier** combines two components:

```
Total Multiplier = Base Multiplier + Added Multiplier
```

* **Base Multiplier**&#x20;

&#x20;Fixed by your NFT's rarity (see table above)

* **Added Multiplier**&#x20;

Increases by **+0.1** for each level you complete (max +2.0 at level 20)

**Example:** A Legendary NFT (base 1.2) at level 12 has an added multiplier of 1.2, giving a total multiplier of **2.4**.

***

## Why Multipliers Matter

The 100,000 PRFI monthly pool is split 50/50: half based on your total multiplier alone, half based on multiplier × staked amount. A higher multiplier and more staked PRFI means a larger share of both halves.

This creates a direct incentive to:

* Acquire higher-rarity NFTs for a stronger base multiplier
* Stake more $PRFI to level up and increase the added multiplier
* Merge lower-rarity NFTs to create rarer ones

***

## Merge System

You can combine **two NFTs of the same rarity** into **one NFT of the next rarity tier**. This burns the two input NFTs and mints a new one, making the collection more scarce over time.

Merging is the only way to obtain higher-rarity NFTs beyond what was originally minted.

# Staking Mechanics

Stake $PRFI tokens inside your PRFI ONFT to level it up, increase your multiplier, and earn a larger share of the monthly reward pool.

***

## How Staking Works

1. Connect your wallet to the staking platform at [primestaking.xyz](https://primestaking.xyz)
2. Select your PRFI ONFT
3. Enter the amount of $PRFI you want to stake
4. Confirm the transaction

The staked $PRFI is held inside the NFT's smart contract. Your level is computed automatically based on how much $PRFI is staked.

***

## Levels

There are **20 levels**. Each level requires a cumulative total of staked $PRFI and adds **+0.1** to your multiplier.

| Level | Added Multiplier | Total PRFI Staked | PRFI Needed to Level Up |
| ----- | ---------------- | ----------------- | ----------------------- |
| 0     | 0.0              | 0                 | 15                      |

## Key Contract Functions

The staking logic lives in the verified smart contract on Base. Key functions include:

| Function                      | Description                                              |
| ----------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| `getNFTData(tokenId)` | Returns the staked amount, multiplier, and lock status |
| `getTokenLevel(tokenId)` | Returns the current level (computed from staked amount) |
| `getAmountToLevelUp(tokenId)` | Returns how much more $PRFI is needed for the next level |
| `checkLevel(staked)`          | Given a staked amount, returns the corresponding level   |

> **Note:** The level is not stored on-chain, it is computed dynamically from the staked balance. This means your level updates instantly when you stake more $PRFI.

***

## Locking (soon available)

You can optionally **lock** your PRFI ONFT on PrimeFi for a specified period. Locking is required to be eligible for the **40% PrimeFi profit sharing** rewards. The lock status is visible on the NFT detail page.

***

## Interface Actions

| Action             | Description                                                                                       |

# Rewards

PRFI ONFT holders earn from multiple sources. Rewards accumulate automatically and can be claimed through the staking platform.

***

## Reward Sources

<figure><img src="https://1313209257-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR6FNsbTzXl4BHzb8J6DP%2Fuploads%2FP5mK9qLbpVxuDbq5fNqz%2Fprfi-rewards-diagram.svg?alt=media&amp;token=2c2ab3c2-942a-4956-9859-27a9e7f6dc9b" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### 1. Monthly $PRFI Rewards

**100,000 $PRFI** is distributed monthly across all staked PRFI ONFTs. Rewards are split into two equal portions:

* **Part 1 (50,000 PRFI)** — Based on your **total multiplier** relative to all other NFTs
* **Part 2 (50,000 PRFI)** — Based on your **multiplier × staked amount** relative to all other NFTs

```
Part 1 = (Your Total Multiplier / Sum of All Multipliers) × 50,000 PRFI
Part 2 = (Your Multiplier × Your Stake / Sum of All Multiplier×Stake) × 50,000 PRFI
Total  = Part 1 + Part 2
```

This dual approach ensures that both NFT quality (rarity and level) and staking commitment are rewarded. A high-rarity NFT with a large stake earns the most.

### 2. PrimePort Fee Sharing

**0.25%** of all PrimePort marketplace transaction volume is distributed to PRFI ONFT holders. Every time an NFT is sold on PrimePort, on any chain, stakers benefit.

### 3. Royalties from Secondary Sales

NFT holders receive **50%** of all PrimePort marketplace royalties on secondary sales. The royalty rate is 10%, meaning **5% of each sale price** is distributed to all PRFI ONFT holders, weighted by multiplier.

### 4. PrimeFi Profit Sharing (soon)

**40%** of [PrimeFi](https://app.primefi.xyz) lending and borrowing protocol profits are distributed to PRFI ONFT holders. To be eligible for PrimeFi rewards, you need to **lock your NFT on PrimeFi** for a specified period.

***

## Reward Frequency

| Source                   | Frequency |
| ------------------------ | --------- |
| Monthly PRFI pool        | Monthly   |
| PrimePort fee sharing    | Monthly   |
| Secondary sale royalties | Monthly   |
| PrimeFi profits          | Monthly   |

Rewards are distributed on the **last day of each calendar month**.

***

## How to Claim

1. Go to [primestaking.xyz](https://primestaking.xyz)
2. Connect your wallet
3. Navigate to your PRFI ONFT
4. Click **Claim Rewards**
5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet

Claimed rewards are added to the staked balance inside your NFT, helping you level up faster. Once your NFT reaches **max level (20)**, surplus rewards can be withdrawn directly to your wallet.

***

## Viewing Rewards on PrimePort

On PrimePort, the **Staking** tab on any PRFI ONFT detail page shows the current staking state, including total PRFI staked and level progress. Reward claim history is tracked on-chain and can be viewed via the [BaseScan explorer](https://basescan.org/address/0x693a3a45ff596024f844be1cc6845d59f778dcf5).

# How to Buy an NFT on PrimePort

A guide to buying an NFT on our PrimePort marketplace

<figure><img src="https://1313209257-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR6FNsbTzXl4BHzb8J6DP%2Fuploads%2FIrsLB5ImH7IaUCoq716Y%2FCaptura%20de%20pantalla%202026-03-19%20a%20las%2019.43.51.png?alt=media&amp;token=6cfae67d-4878-4cf0-9651-487467022e39" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

PrimePort supports two networks: **XDC Network** and **Base** (Ethereum L2). The buying flow is identical on both, the only difference is which network your wallet is on and which token you use for gas.

> **PRFI ONFTs** are on Base and priced in ETH.&#x20;
>
> **XDC collections** are on XDC Network and priced in XDC.

To update or cancel a listing, go to **My Profile**, open the NFT, and select **Cancel Listing**. Cancelling requires a small gas transaction.

If a buyer submits an **offer** below your asking price, you will see it on the NFT detail page. You can accept or ignore it, accepting triggers an on-chain transfer and the proceeds go directly to your wallet.

***

### Fee Breakdown

When your NFT sells, the following fees are deducted from the sale price:

| Fee                | Amount         | Recipient                                 |
| ------------------ | -------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| Marketplace fee    | 0.25%          | PRFI ONFT holders                         |
| Collection royalty | set by creator | 50% to PRFI ONFT holders · 50% to creator |

The amount you receive = sale price minus marketplace fee minus royalty.

# Using the Auction System

A guide to the auctions system on PrimePort

Auctions let you sell an NFT to the highest bidder over a set time window. Unlike a fixed-price listing, the final sale price is determined by competitive bidding, useful for high-value or rare NFTs where market demand is unknown.

***

### Creating an Auction

Go to **My Profile**, open the NFT you want to auction, and click **Start Auction**.&#x20;

Fill in the following fields:

* **Start date** — When bidding opens. Can be immediate or scheduled.
* **End date** — When bidding closes. No bids are accepted after this time.
* **Starting price** — The minimum bid required to start the auction.
* **Reserve price** *(optional)* — A hidden minimum. If the highest bid does not reach this amount, the auction ends without a sale.

Check the **Terms of Service** box and click **Create Auction**. Confirm the transaction in your wallet to publish the listing.

***

### How Bidding Works

Once the auction is live, any connected wallet can place a bid. Each new bid must exceed the current highest bid. Bids are visible in the **Bids** section on the NFT detail page, showing bidder address, amount, and timestamp.

Funds are held on-chain for the duration of the auction. Outbid participants can reclaim their funds once they are no longer the highest bidder.

You can sell your NFTs via an auction on the PrimePort marketplace. You can create an auction to run for a certain period of time. Below the sell button, you’ll see an auction option is available.

When you press the ‘Auction’ button you’ll be presented with a form where you can fill out the following…

* The start date of your auction
* The end date of your auction
* The starting price of your NFT
* A reserve price if you wish to set one

During the auction, you’ll see a bids section within your NFT which lists all the bids that have taken place.

If you change your mind then you have the ability to delete the auction.

Adding this functionality to PrimePort gives users so many more options when it comes to selling their NFTs.

# Using the Drops System

A guide to using the PrimePort drops system

The Drops system on PrimePort allows creators to launch NFT collections with configurable mint schedules, whitelist phases, and pricing waves. For collectors, it's the primary way to mint NFTs at primary sale prices before they reach secondary market.

#### Step 2. Access My Drops

Once approved, disconnect and reconnect your wallet. A **My Drops** option will appear in your profile menu above **Sign Out**. Click it to enter the drop management dashboard.

#### Step 3. Configure General Settings

Click your drop and fill in the **General** section:

* Name, symbol, and description
* Mint dates and total quantity
* Collection image
* Image hosting: toggle **on** to let Prime Numbers manage your images via IPFS, or toggle **off** to self-host

Hit **Update** before navigating away, unsaved changes are lost.

#### Step 4. Deploy Your Smart Contract

Go to the **Contract** tab and click **New Contract**. Confirm the deployment transaction in your wallet. Once confirmed, your collection contract is live on XDC Network.

#### Step 5. Set Earnings Address

In the **Earnings** section, enter the wallet address where mint proceeds should be sent. Save and confirm the transaction.

#### Step 6. Upload Collection Assets

* **Gallery** — Up to four preview images shown on the drop page
* **Team** — Add team member names, roles, and photos
* **More Info** — Spotlight one NFT with detailed description; add a collection banner

#### Step 7. Update the Smart Contract (Critical)

In **Important Settings**, press both buttons in order:

1. **Update Metadata** → confirms with "Updated base URL"
2. **Update Total NFT** → confirms with "Updated max supply"

Both transactions must be confirmed in your wallet. Skipping either step will cause your drop to malfunction at mint time.

#### Step 8. Schedule Your Drop

Go to the **Schedule** section. If it shows an error, your NFT count in the NFTs section does not match the quantity in General — fix that first.

Click **Create New** to define a schedule. You can configure:

* **Whitelist phase** — restrict early minting to specific wallet addresses
* **Pricing waves** — lower prices during early windows to reward fast minters
* **Public phase** — open minting start date and time

Click **Create** to save the schedule. Your drop will now appear in the **Upcoming** section of the Drops page.

***

### Gas Costs

XDC Network gas fees are near-zero. Deploying a contract, updating metadata, and scheduling a drop costs a negligible amount of XDC in total.

In this section, we'll explain everything you need to know regarding the PrimePort drops system.

> **Note:** The drops system is currently available on the **XDC Network**. The steps below use XDC.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What’s the point of a drops system?**</mark>

We have a drops system so artists can release large collections of NFTs all in one go. The drops system gives the community the ability to mint NFTs before they go on general sale across the crypto space. It also allows the artist to release their collection in waves and to certain wallets on a whitelist if they wish.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Before you start...**</mark>

Make sure you run through this process using the wallet you want to be attached to your NFT drop. The wallet you connect to PrimePort and start completing the below steps with is going to be the wallet that your NFT drop revolves around. We strongly advise that you use MetaMask as it’s the most compatible with our platform.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**How do I access the drops system?**</mark>

Firstly, you’ll need to go through the screening process. Connect your wallet to the PrimePort site and then click the **‘Create A Drop’** option in the bottom right corner. Fill out the form which will then be sent to the PrimePort team for review. Once they’ve approved your application you’ll then be granted access to the drops system to start preparing your NFT drop.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**How do I know if my application was approved?**</mark>

Once the PrimePort team have approved your application you’ll find a **‘My Drops’** option in your profile. This will only appear when you connect your wallet to PrimePort again after your application has been approved so to check if that’s happened disconnect your wallet and then reconnect and sign in again. If you can see the **‘My Drops’** option above the **‘Sign Out’** option then you’re good to go. Please bear in mind applications can take at least 48 hours to be approved and the team may request a meeting with you to validate the authenticity of your project.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**I’ve been approved. What next?**</mark>

Once you’ve been approved click **‘My Drops’** and here you can start preparing your NFT drop. Click on the drop and on the next screen you’ll be asked to enter a Name, Symbol and Description for your drop. At the bottom, you’ll see a toggle button. If you’re not very savvy when it comes to launching NFT collections then you want to turn this on and Prime Numbers will manage your images. However, if you are savvy and want to manage your own images via IPFS then leave this turned off and you’ll be responsible for managing your own data. Once you filled out the above correctly click the update button and move onto the next screen.

Next, you have a bunch of general settings to fill out relating to your NFT drop. Add your mint dates and quantity, edit the description, add an image for your collection etc. Once you’ve done that it’s very important you hit the update button at the bottom so it saves your data otherwise when you move to the next section you'll lose everything you filled out.

Once you’ve hit update you’ll see at the top you’ve got a bunch of headers so select Contract. Here is where you create your Smart Contract so press the **‘New Contract’** button and it will start deploying your contract. MetaMask will produce a transaction you need to confirm and then your smart contract will be created.

Next is the **‘Earnings’** section and here you want to enter the wallet address that the minting funds will be sent to and then hit Save. Your wallet will then appear with a transaction for updating the payout creator address which you’ll need to confirm.

Next is the **‘Gallery’** section and this is where you showcase the art for your NFT collection. You can upload a maximum of four files in a number of different formats. These will be the images displayed for your drop on the PrimePort marketplace.

Next is the **‘Team’** section and this is where you can tell the world about the awesome folks behind your project. Add their names, position, a description and an image for each team member.

The next section is **‘More Info’** and this is where you can showcase more detailed information about your NFT collection. You get to showcase one NFT and write about it in detail. You can then add a banner for your collection underneath.

In the **‘FAQ’** section you can add a bunch of questions you think your community might ask and provide them with the answers.

The next section is called **‘NFTs’** and this is where you upload your collection. You have two options here. You can either upload your NFTs one by one or you can use the CSV template to upload lots of NFTs in one go. It’s important that the number of NFTs you upload in this section matches the quantity you specified in the **‘General’** section at the beginning otherwise your scheduling won’t work later on. The **‘Select Status’** drop-down box gives you the ability to see the Frozen NFTs which are ones that have already been minted to the Smart Contract and the Draft NFTs which are ones that are yet to be minted.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Now for the important bit...**</mark>

So you’ve filled out all the sections for your drop and you’ll see one of the sections is called **‘Important Settings’** which is the most important part of creating your drop. In this section, you’ll see two buttons. One to update the Metadata and one to update the Total NFT. It’s very important you press both buttons as this is what updates the smart contract.

So first off press the **‘Update Metadata’** button and your wallet will give you a transaction to confirm. Once complete you should see a success message that says **‘Updated base URL’**.

Next press the **‘Update Total NFT’** button and your wallet will give you another transaction to confirm. Once complete you should see a success message that says **‘Updated max supply’**.

Okay, good stuff you’ve now successfully created your drop and updated the Smart Contract correctly so let’s get your drop scheduled for release!

Lastly is the **‘Schedule’** section. If this section shows the below screen then you need to check the NFT quantity in the **‘General’** section matches the token count in the **‘NFTs’** section.

<figure><img src="https://1313209257-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR6FNsbTzXl4BHzb8J6DP%2Fuploads%2FUgEXY9aTPosCMQOQtMyS%2FDefine%20Schedule%20Error.png?alt=media&amp;token=91d02240-e5ba-40a6-bbc1-83b92b1fcbb7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once you’ve made the necessary corrections then the **‘Schedule’** section should show a **‘Create New’** button.

This is where you can set the schedules for your drop. You can set a whitelist schedule to give certain wallet addresses early access. You could set minting waves whereby it’s cheaper if they mint an NFT in the first few days etc. Once you’ve filled out the necessary information press the create button and you’ll now see a schedule in your list.

Congratulations! You have now scheduled the drop of your NFT collection and it should be visible in the **‘Upcoming’** section of the **‘Drops’** area on PrimePort. All that work has cost you next to nothing in fees because XDC Network gas fees are near-zero!

In this section, we will explain what it means to **'Mint'** an NFT and will guide you through the process of doing it on the PrimePort marketplace.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What is the minting of an NFT?**</mark>

Minting an NFT is the process of writing a digital item onto the blockchain. This creates its immutable record of authenticity and ownership. When you mint something, you create a lifelong record of that item on the blockchain. The minting process is the very beginning of the item's history on the blockchain. Every time the item changes hands this will be logged under its history for everyone to see.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Who can mint an NFT?**</mark>

The minting of an NFT isn't just for artists and creators. Anyone can mint an NFT and projects usually allow the community to do this at the very beginning of the NFT collection so that a community member becomes the very first owner of that NFT.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Does it cost money to mint an NFT?**</mark>

Yes, whenever you mint an NFT there's a gas fee that you have to pay. On the XDC Network, gas fees are near-zero — one XDC token will last you thousands of transactions. On Base, gas fees are low thanks to Ethereum L2 scaling.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What do I need as preparation to mint an NFT on PrimePort?**</mark>

You will need an EVM-compatible wallet (we recommend MetaMask) with a small amount of the native token (XDC or ETH) to cover gas fees. You also need your item ready to turn into an NFT and any information you wish to publish about the NFT.

> **Note:** Minting and contract deployment on PrimePort are currently available on the **XDC Network**. See [Getting Started](/getting-started) for wallet setup.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**How do I mint my NFT on the PrimePort marketplace?**</mark>

Follow the instructions in the next section. We'll guide you through minting on the TestNet first and then once you're comfortable with the process you'll be able to mint your NFTs on the MainNet.

# How to Mint an NFT

PrimePort lets creators deploy their own ERC-721 smart contract and mint NFTs directly on-chain, no third-party launchpad required. The minting flozw runs on **XDC Network**, with near-zero gas fees.

> **Prerequisites:** An EVM-compatible wallet (MetaMask recommended) connected to XDC Network with a small amount of XDC for gas. See Getting Started for network setup.

### Single NFT vs. Batch Minting

|               | Single NFT                | Batch NFT                      |
| ------------- | ------------------------- | ------------------------------ |
| Use case      | One-of-a-kind pieces      | Collections of multiple NFTs   |
| Upload method | Individual form | Individual or CSV bulk upload |
| Contract | Shared per creator wallet | Same contract, multiple tokens |

Both options follow the same contract deployment flow below.

***

### Step 1. Deploy on TestNet First

Before minting to MainNet, test your setup on the XDC TestNet at zero cost.

1. Connect your wallet to [primeport.xyz](https://primeport.xyz) on the **XDC Network**
2. Click **Upload** on the homepage
3. Click **New Contract** and fill in the form:
   * **Name** — your contract/collection name
   * **Symbol** — short ticker (e.g. `ARTXYZ`)
   * **Type** — ERC-721
   * **Ascii Mark** — a text-based trademark for your collection. Click **TOOL** to open the generator, create your mark, copy it back into the field
4. Agree to Terms of Service and click **Deploy on TestNet**
5. When prompted, switch to the XDC TestNet in your wallet
6. Get free Test XDC from the faucet link shown on screen *(your address must start with `xdc` — replace `0x` if using MetaMask)*
7. Return to PrimePort and click **Continue** to deploy the contract

***

### Step 2. Mint a TestNet NFT

Once your TestNet contract is deployed, click **Mint A NFT On TestNet** from the Next Steps list. Select **Single NFT** or **Batch NFT**.

Fill in the NFT form:

* **Image** — upload your artwork file
* **Title** and **Description**
* **Properties** — add any trait metadata (key / value pairs)

Click **Update Metadata**, then **Deploy on TestNet**. Choose whether to mint to your own wallet or airdrop to another address. Click **Mint** and confirm the transaction.

Go to your profile to verify the NFT looks correct before proceeding to MainNet.

***

### Step 3. Deploy Your Contract on MainNet

Once you're satisfied with the TestNet result:

1. Click **Upload** and select your existing contract
2. Click **Deploy Contract on MainNet**
3. Switch back to XDC MainNet when prompted and click **Continue**
4. Confirm the deployment transaction, this uses a small amount of real XDC

***

### Step 4. Mint on MainNet

Click **Mint A NFT On MainNet** from the Next Steps list. Follow the same form as TestNet — upload image, add title, description, and properties.

Click **Update Metadata**, then **Deploy on Mainnet**. Select mint-to-self or airdrop, click **Mint**, and confirm the transaction.

Your NFT is now live on XDC MainNet and visible on PrimePort.

***

### Step 5. Configure Royalties and Collection Info

The final step is **Update Collection**:

* **Cover photo and image** — displayed on the collection page
* **Description and slug** — your collection's public identity
* **Website link**
* **Fee recipient** — wallet address that receives royalty payments
* **Royalty percentage** — applied to all secondary sales of your NFTs

Click **Update Collection** and confirm. Your royalty settings are now written on-chain.

***

### Gas Costs

XDC Network gas fees are near-zero. A full deployment, TestNet test, MainNet contract, minting, and royalty setup, costs a negligible amount of XDC in total.

# Copy of How to Mint an NFT

In this section, we will guide you through the process of minting an NFT.

> **Note:** Minting and contract deployment are currently available on the **XDC Network**. The steps below use the XDC Network and its TestNet.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Step 1 - Connect your wallet to PrimePort**</mark>

Make sure your wallet is on the XDC Network and then go to PrimePort.xyz and in the top right press the wallet button. Wallet Connect will then load so select your desired wallet which is likely to be MetaMask. Now press the wallet button in the top right again and a sign transaction will appear. Once you confirm the transaction your wallet will connect to the site and you'll know this has worked if a third button which is the profile icon appears in the top right corner.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Step 2 - Start creating your Smart Contract**</mark>

On the PrimePort home screen, you'll see an **'Upload'** button. Press that and then press the **'New Contract'** button. Now you'll see a form you need to fill out regarding the Smart Contract you're going to create for your NFT. Give your contract a name and symbol. Select the ERC721 type and then place your cursor in the **'Ascii Mark'** section and you'll see on the right-hand side the word **'TOOL'** so click on where it says **'TOOL'**. This will take you to a site where you can create your Ascii Mark which is like a trademark for your NFT. In the box where it says **'Type Something'** enter your trademark and you'll see it gets printed in the box below. Copy everything in the box below back into the Ascii Mark section on PrimePort.

Next, tick the **'I agree to terms of service'** box and then hit the **'Deploy in TestNet'** button. This will then ask you to switch to the XDC Test Network so first make a note of the Faucet address on the screen as you're going to need to grab yourself some Test XDC coins for the next bit and then press the **'Change Network'** button and MetaMask will swap you over to the Test Network.

Now go to the faucet and get yourself some Test XDC which is totally free. Make sure your address starts with xdc so if you're using MetaMask you might need to change the 0x at the start of your address to xdc. Once you have some Test XDC in your wallet go back to PrimePort and press the **'Continue'** button.

This will start the deployment of your Smart Contract. First, it will compile your contract and then it'll ask you to sign the transaction which is why you need some Test XDC. Once you confirm the transaction it will then deploy your contract to the TestNet.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Step 3 - Mint a TestNet NFT**</mark>

The next step is to mint an NFT on the TestNet so on the screen you should see a list of **'Next Steps'**. Click on **'Mint A NFT On TestNet'** and then select **'Single NFT'** or **'Batch NFT'** whichever one you want to practice.

On the next screen, you'll see a form where you can upload the image for your NFT. You can then give it a title, description and properties. Lastly, tick the **'I agree to terms of service'** box and then press the **'Update Metadata'** button.

Now press the **'Deploy on TestNet'** button and then **'Continue'** and you'll be asked if you want to mint this yourself or airdrop it to someone else. Select your preferred choice and then hit **'Mint'** and again MetaMask will pop up asking you to sign the transaction.

Once the process completes you can now go to your profile and view your NFT to make sure you're happy with how everything looks.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Step 4 - Deploy your Smart Contract on the MainNet**</mark>

Now that you've had practice minting your NFT on the TestNet and you're happy with how it looks it's time to do it for real on the MainNet. So press the **'Upload'** button and then you'll see your Smart Contracts so select the one you created earlier and you'll see the list of **'Next Steps'** again.

Click the **'Deploy Contract on MainNet'** step and it'll ask you to change network again. Once you have changed the network click **'Continue'** and then it'll start deploying your Contract to the MainNet. Once that completes successfully you're ready to start minting your NFTs on the MainNet.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Step 5 - Mint a MainNet NFT**</mark>

The next step in the list is to **'Mint A NFT On MainNet'** so click on that step and then select Single or Batch. Fill out the form as you did before and then tick the terms of service box and then hit the **'Update Metadata'** button. Once your Metadata has been updated successfully then hit the **'Deploy on Mainnet'** button.

Again it'll ask if you want to mint this to yourself or airdrop it to someone else. Choose your preference and then hit **'Mint'** and it'll start minting your NFT to the MainNet.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Step 6 - Set up your royalties.**</mark>

The final step on the list is to set up your royalties and add your collection information. Give your collection a Cover Photo and Image. Add a description, slug, and link to your website. In the Fee Recipient box enter the wallet address you want the royalties to be sent to and then set the royalty percentage.

Once you're happy with all the information you've entered hit the **'Update Collection'** button and that's it! You're all done!

Congratulations! You have now successfully minted your NFT(s) on the PrimePort marketplace. All that's left now is to promote your NFT on social media and get yourself some sales!

# Copy of Designing Your Profile Page

A guide to designing your profile page on the PrimePort Marketplace

<figure><img src="https://1313209257-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR6FNsbTzXl4BHzb8J6DP%2Fuploads%2FGo9tIGggMBWYFe0BmUBP%2FDesigning%20your%20profile%20cover%20photo.png?alt=media&amp;token=1f54d7cc-7edc-4533-876d-3e6b3bd39284" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In this section, we'll guide you through customising your profile page. This is the place where other users can see your NFTs and info about you, the collector or artist.

Firstly, connect your wallet to the PrimePort website. Once connected press the profile icon in the top right corner and select **'Edit Profile'**.

At the top of the page, you can edit your cover photo which is the banner displayed across the top of your profile.

Next is your profile image. This is the image that is front and centre of your profile whenever someone visits it so make it a good one.

Next is the Username section, which is what you want to call your profile.

Next up is your bio where you can choose to tell the world about yourself, your thoughts about NFTs or whatever you want.

Email address is the next section and this isn't public information. This is purely for PrimePort to be able to send you an email notification if there are any bids on your NFTs or if an NFT you put up for sale has been sold etc

The final section is where you can place all your links. Twitter, Facebook, Discord, Instagram, and your website.

Once you've finished editing all the above make sure you hit the 'Update Profile' button which will save all the information you've just added.

Congratulations! You're PrimePort profile now looks great so be sure to keep it fresh and up to date.

# What is Blockchain Technology?

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What is Blockchain Technology?**</mark>

Blockchain technology is a system of recording information in a way that makes it difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system. A blockchain is essentially a digital ledger of transactions that are duplicated and distributed across the entire network of computer systems on the blockchain.

The technology offers a secure way for individuals to deal directly with each other, without an intermediary like a government, bank, or other third parties.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**How does it work?**</mark>

For a blockchain to function it's dependent on three components: data, a block hash, and the previous block hash.

Each block on the blockchain contains data. The amount of data in each block varies depending on how many transactions and the size of the transactions. Each block is like a package of information all wrapped up and the chain links them all together. When each block is created it’s given a hash which is like a fingerprint.

If changes are made to the block at a later date then its hash will change alerting those running the blockchain that the information has been tampered with. The hash of the previous block on the chain is the final piece that’s needed. This leads to the creation of a chain of blocks and as a result, these aspects make it extremely secure to trust and use.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What is Cryptocurrency?**</mark>

Cryptocurrency is one aspect of this technology and it’s the currency side of it. A cryptocurrency is a digital currency designed to work as a medium of exchange through a computer network that is not reliant on any central authority, such as a government or bank to uphold or maintain it.

Each cryptocurrency has a supply of coins most of which are capped. Your government can just print more money as and when they wish but it’s not like that in the crypto world. The value of a cryptocurrency is determined by its supply and demand. When there’s more demand for a certain currency the price increases because the whole printing more thing very rarely happens in the crypto space.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What are the other aspects of Blockchain Technology?**</mark>

Smart Contracts are the main aspect of this technology and the one that will change the world. A smart contract is a computer program or a transaction protocol that automatically executes when triggered. When triggered it will execute a series of steps and provide an outcome to the party who triggered it or several parties.

It can be something as simple as a transaction or as complex as the delivery of a shipping container from one side of the world to the other. You can literally write a smart contract for pretty much anything which is why we’re going to see business models around the world change drastically over the next decade once they realize how valuable this technology is.

NFTs are another aspect of this technology. Pretty much anything can be an NFT. In the future, your passport, driver's license, and even your medical records might be NFTs.

Blockchain Technology is the next version of the Internet which is why it's known as Web3. The current Internet is known as Web2 and took decades to get to where it is today. Over the next couple of decades, Web3 will change the way we do things all around the world and before we know it everything will be built on this technology.

# What is an NFT?

<figure><img src="https://1313209257-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FR6FNsbTzXl4BHzb8J6DP%2Fuploads%2FOgNT0fdCeZ1TQEVQjBmp%2FWhat%20is%20an%20NFT.png?alt=media&amp;token=577f933e-87b5-4d83-8d81-fcedbd4c1772" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What is an NFT?**</mark>

NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token, a unique digital item stored on a blockchain. Pretty much anything can be an NFT and they serve as a digital record of ownership of that item.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What's the difference between Fungible and Non-Fungible?**</mark>

Fungible items are the same. For example, my Bitcoin is the same as John's Bitcoin in every single way. We could swap Bitcoins and still have the same item, one Bitcoin each. Bitcoins don't have any unique identifiers

Non-Fungible items are unique and have several unique identifiers. Every time a Non-Fungible item is created it's allocated a unique token ID when it gets written to the blockchain. These IDs serve as digital records. For example, John might own a digital item that has a unique token ID of 2233. I might own the same digital item but the unique token ID of 2234 is different and this item was previously owned by a celebrity making it more valuable than John's digital item. Even though these items are the same to look at, if myself and John swapped these digital items then he would end up with the more valuable item because it was previously owned by a celebrity.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**How do NFTs work?**</mark>

Whenever an action is carried out with an NFT it gets recorded on the blockchain and this is what enables authentication. The record for that NFT serves as a permanent statement of authenticity that can be viewed by anyone. In the real world if you buy a piece of art it comes with a bit of paper called a certificate of authenticity. This can easily be lost, destroyed, or counterfeited and shows how fragile the current system is in the real world.

In the blockchain world, the system is solid because from the first moment that the item gets written to the blockchain a series of data is then built on top of that record forever and visible to everyone. If you go to buy an NFT from someone then you can see its history all the way back to the day it was first created.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**Why is NFT technology so revolutionary?**</mark>

Blockchain technology is revolutionary for digital items. With NFTs, you can authenticate ownership, prove scarcity, and openly transfer an item to anyone in the world and these new attributes are incredibly powerful for creators. Traditionally monetizing an item is pretty difficult but blockchain technology makes it so much easier for creators to do. The authenticity side of this technology is so huge. Take a concert ticket for example, buying that ticket as an NFT means you can prove it's authentic whereas in the real world, there's a lot more risk that the ticket you're buying might be fake.

### <mark style="color:purple;">**What are NFTs used for?**</mark>

NFTs can be used for a whole host of things. They might be used in areas such as - Gaming, Art, Music, The Metaverse, Photography, Memberships, Domain Names, Cards & Collectibles, Legal Documents, Identity, and Personal Records. NFT uses can be pretty much anything. This is only the very beginning when it comes to the world of NFTs.

# Staking NFTs Explained

Prime Numbers Labs pioneered the concept of **staking NFTs** — NFTs that act as vaults for cryptocurrency tokens. By staking tokens inside your NFT, you earn a share of a monthly reward pool, and your NFT becomes a yield-generating asset.

***

## PRFI ONFTs (Base)

The latest generation of staking NFTs lives on the **Base** network (Ethereum L2). These are called **PRFI ONFTs** (Omnichain NFTs via LayerZero).

|                         |                                                                                                      |
| ----------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Token staked**        | $PRFI                                                                                                |
| **Monthly reward pool** | 100,000 PRFI distributed across all staked NFTs |
| **Additional rewards**  | Marketplace royalties + 40% of PrimeFi profits                                                       |
| **Max level**           | 20                                                                                                   |
| **Network**             | Base (Chain ID 8453)                                                                                 |
| **Marketplace**         | [PrimePort](https://primeport.xyz) · [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/primenumbers-prfi-onft) |

Each PRFI ONFT has a base multiplier determined by its rarity. By staking $PRFI, you increase your level and added multiplier, which increases your share of the reward pool.

**Key differences from the XDC staking NFTs:**

* The **level is computed on-chain** from the staked balance (not stored as a separate value)
* There is no "Stake in Level" field — only total staked and PRFI needed to reach the next level
* The **merge system** allows you to combine two same-rarity NFTs into a higher-tier NFT
* PRFI ONFTs are **omnichain** — they can be bridged to other chains via LayerZero

## Legacy: PRNT Staking NFTs (XDC)

> **Historical:** PRNT Staking NFTs on XDC are the original staking collection and are no longer actively used. The ecosystem has migrated to **PRFI ONFTs on Base**. These contracts remain on-chain for existing holders.

## XDC Staking NFTs (XDC) — Active

Gamified staking vaults on XDC. Each NFT holds **psXDC** (not raw XDC) and earns XDC rewards based on its rarity and level — offering higher yields than standard liquid staking.

|                       |                                                |
| --------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **Token staked**      | psXDC                                          |
| **Rewards paid in**   | XDC                                            |
| **Network**           | XDC Network (Chain ID 50)                      |
| **Collection size**   | 5,557 NFTs (5,542 generative + 15 handcrafted) |
| **Max level**         | 20                                             |
| **Max stake per NFT** | 100,000 psXDC                                  |
| **Base APY**          | \~4.75% (staked, unlocked)                     |
| **Max APY**           | Up to 6% (staked + 1-year lock)                |
| **Staking platform**  | [primestaking.xyz](https://primestaking.xyz)   |

**How it works:** Get psXDC (liquid-stake XDC or buy on a DEX) → deposit psXDC inside your NFT → level up and earn monthly XDC rewards. Optionally lock your NFT for 1 year for an additional 1.25% APY bonus.

XDC Staking NFTs include a **merge** feature — combine two same-rarity NFTs to create a higher-rarity one (both originals are burned). This makes the collection **deflationary by design**. Rewards are paid on the last day of each calendar month.

The collection also includes 15 exclusive handcrafted NFTs with a base multiplier of 2.0 — the highest in the collection.

***

## How Staking Rewards Work

All staking NFTs follow the same core principle:

1. **Stake tokens** inside your NFT
2. **Level up** as your staked balance grows
3. **Earn monthly rewards** proportional to your total multiplier
4. **Claim rewards** through the staking platform at the end of each month

Your **total multiplier** = base multiplier (from rarity) + added multiplier (from levels). A higher total multiplier means a bigger share of the reward pool.
